Pilot protocol for a COVID-19 vaccine effectiveness study using health data registries

The aim of this protocol is to monitor the real-time performance of COVID-19 vaccines in the community-dwelling resident population in order to detect any signal in terms of reduced vaccine effectiveness, so that public health vaccine recommendations may be adjusted accordingly.

Guidance on monkeypox

Monkeypox (MPX) Reporting Protocol, Version 3.1

This reporting protocol is intended for reporting national case-based data for surveillance of monkeypox from all the countries and areas of the WHO European Region, including the 27 countries of the EU and the additional three countries of the EEA, to the European level.

ECDC communicable disease threats report

The ECDC communicable disease threats report is a weekly bulletin intended for epidemiologists and health professionals in the area of communicable disease prevention and control. Summarising information gathered by ECDC through its epidemic intelligence activities regarding communicable disease threats of concern to the European Union, it also provides updates on the global situation and changes in the epidemiology of communicable diseases with potential to affect Europe, including diseases that are the focus of eradication efforts.
